    Noisy return pump alternatives

So after i finished putting water into my jbj 28 and i turned on the pumps to circulate the water. The return pumps were extremely loud.. Especially for a bedroom tank.. I was wondering if anyone can help me out try to lower the noise of the pumps.. Do u guys think changing to a maxijett or cobalt will help or is there anyway i can pump foam to on the pump to lessen the noise from the vibrations.. Let me knw what worked for u guys

Eheim is the only way to go. All of my Eheims have been dead silent. It's all I have and would ever use.
Custom Pico Aquarium 45g DT w/Starfire Front & Sides, 12g Custom Advanced Acrylics Sump & Refugium,
Ecotech Radion Pro G3 LEDs (2 Modules), 2 Ecotech Mp40QD, Tunze ATO, Nyos Quantum 120 Skimmer,
Ecotech Vectra M1 Return Pump, 200w Eheim Heater,
    JBJ Artica 1/15 Chiller |
And a whole lot of fabulous!

    +1

You could also try adding a vibration dampening pad under your pump:
