    got an idea

So atm in planning stages for a 60 cube now I was thinking goin 20gal sump with k1 and skimmer heaters ect but was also thinkin of making it a 2 tier stand and putting 10gal display fuge for over flows I was thinking using aquax in out so if I have 1 go to sump then 1 go to fuge with pump back to tank from fuge run external but also a up turned elbow covered with drilled out live rock to go to sump for fuge and dt do u think that would be enough in case either pump failed to not have a flood

    K1 does not export no3 and p04
But now that I think bout it I would have to put fuge overflow lower so if dt pump failed pump wouldnt run dry and then put emergency in fuge if fuge pump failed

Why not just use one pump in the sump, direct your DT overflow to the fuge, then install an overflow on that, to your sump? Just have to make sure your fuge drain handles as much flow (more would be better), than your DT drain.

bc i would like to have a slower flow to the fuge so has more contact time to work
