[POLL] Redbugs: Have you ever had them?

I have yet to introduce these pesky tiny pest into my system but I was wondering if any of you have. I found some on a frag but dipped them before they went into my tank. I was lucky.

Let's be honest folks....have you had these yet?
Custom Pico Aquarium 45g DT w/Starfire Front & Sides, 12g Custom Advanced Acrylics Sump & Refugium,
Ecotech Radion Pro G3 LEDs (2 Modules), 2 Ecotech Mp40QD, Tunze ATO, Nyos Quantum 120 Skimmer,
Ecotech Vectra M1 Return Pump, 200w Eheim Heater,
    JBJ Artica 1/15 Chiller |
And a whole lot of fabulous!

One interceptor treatment (when it was still on the market) and I haven't seen them since. That has been a year or more. With only a possum wrasse as a natural predator in my tank, I wouldn't think the single fish would keep the population in complete control.

My Vet, which carried Interceptor last year, is out now. Now that I'm operating as a businesses, I was going to stock up, but alas, I have no source. Bayer insect killer it is!

Indeed, I'm amazed at the dead things in the bottom of the container after a bayer dip of new coral. Freaky.

Interceptor is no longer sold. The manufacturing company was forced to closed due to some reason.

My vet did locate a similar med that contained that particular ingredient; however, some of these meds also contained additional ingredients and I am unsure what harm/good they will do if used like the interceptor!

I will keep a lookout for any additional information.

PS - After adding my Pearl Wrasse, I have seen NO red bugs what so ever!!! Just a thought as this may possible be a "new/good" way to "treat" for red bugs!

My vet gave me the same info; I'm going to look into the other additives.

Some people have had positive results with the replacement novartis drug which also has another reef safe med in it, interceptor spectrum. Your local vet most likely has it.

Ben, could you write up how to use this? or direct us to a link on how to use this? I know there are several "different" types/ labels of Bayer Insect killers on the market, just need to know which one to use and ratio used for dipping corals.
