    Matt's 125g planted tank build

    Hello everyone,
This is a reedo thread from the original peninsula build thread. Now that the tank is no longer a peninsuila I figured I should make a new updated journal.

This tank has been up and running for about 2 months.

    Original peninsula build thread

    Stats
    -72x18x22'' standard 125g
-Drilled one in end for 2x 1.5" drain lines
    -coast to coast overflow
    -40g sump custom modified sump
-Mag drive 18 return pump pushing 1100gph after head pressure
-Reef Fanatic single stage co2 regulator
    -5lb co2 tank
    -2x250w dual ended metal halide

    Quick update
    -finally received the driftwood
-purchased a 5lb co2 tank with regulator for $50 and now have it running
-driftwood has not sunk yet and is still boyant. Rocks are still placed on top of the wood to counteract boyancy.
-once the wood is no longer boyant I will make the final scape adjustments. I have thinned out my plants by over 50% to eliminate plant types that will not go with my aquascape

Please forgive the low quality and cloudy-grainy picture

As of right now I have the following
    -4 Apisto's
    -5 Bolivian Rams
    -2 Dicrossus Maculatus(sp?)
    -4 L333' Pleco's
    -5 Bushy Nose Pleco's

I plan on thinning out the Bolivians and adding at least 5 more Dicrossus Maculatus. I would also like to get a dither fish of some sort for a mid to upper level swimmer

That was after drilling! Dropped a freaking brick and the corner hit the class. No crack though!

    Really nice build.

I wish I had done an overflow, tbh, on my tank but cest la vie

    Thanks.
Just a side note. The lpreflectors will be mounted in a canopy that will be built shortly. The ghetto wood brackets are just temporary.

    Also looking for plant reccomendations.
If you happen to have a plant that would look good in the scape, I might hit you up for some trimmings
