I got some ideas in chat but thought I would open a full thread:

Some of the ones that stuck out from the chat were:

I already have a clown goby in my 55 so I am looking to diversify a bit but thanks for the recommendation. The one in my 55 is super friendly and personable always comes up when I am getting ready to feed

Unless you are going to have this aquarium operate at lower temperatures, I'd skip the Catalina Goby.........

From LA: "The Catalina Goby is native to the cold waters off the Eastern Pacific coast of the United States. This temperate species thrives in water temperatures between 60 F and 70 F. The Catalina Goby may be tolerant of warmer, tropical temperatures in most reef aquariums but only for a short time. If exposed to tropical temperatures for too long, the Catalina Goby can experience decreased resistance to disease and a shorter lifespan."

Yeah I know it would have to be colder if I was going to get that one, though LFA puts them up to 76 so it wouldnt be that cold

Trimma gobies FTW! I have Trimma Cana, Rhubromaculatis and Tevegae (my favorite) and would be great choices in a 12g tank.

What fish did you end up choosing for the nano?
Custom Pico Aquarium 45g DT w/Starfire Front & Sides, 12g Custom Advanced Acrylics Sump & Refugium,
Ecotech Radion Pro G3 LEDs (2 Modules), 2 Ecotech Mp40QD, Tunze ATO, Nyos Quantum 120 Skimmer,
Ecotech Vectra M1 Return Pump, 200w Eheim Heater,
    JBJ Artica 1/15 Chiller |
And a whole lot of fabulous!
