    Wtb -- gfo

Hi. Looking to buy some GFO. BRS has a deal on 3.5 lbs. of the high capacity. Anyone need some and want to split the container?

    Thanks!

Yes walt is right, if u have phosphates it doesn't last long and can be exhausted within a week. Also start out with half the recommended dosage for your tank and work your way up from there. Your phosphate test and the algae on the front glass will help determine when it needs to be changed.

That's what I watch for too. It's a sign I need to replace the GFO.

Yup... Just found that out. I was using Pura Phoslock and I don't recall having to change it out so soon and often. Depending on if, when and how the vinegar dosing goes, I'm be going back to Pura phoslock. Just MHO...
