    hydroids

    does anyone know if peppermint shrimp also eat hydroids i thought i saw a couple and now i dont seam to see the heads

    I have been researching this since you posted, and from what I have read is No (was the most replies) but others claimed Yes they did. So basically I responded with a meaningless post trying to help and came up with....well.... nothing ........

    I beleive Jeff had a problem with hydroids. I'm not sure how he was able to get them under control.

    hydroids, superglue or kalk paste. i did the superglue on a colony i got on some rock, done ina day.

    colonial hydroids are the problematic ones i believe. the tiny singular ones are not a problem.

    those ones you have a picture are then larvae stage, before they start off something on the rock walt. both can sting stuff and no bueno.
